Hydromulch uses a wide range of site specific
FINN consumable products for the establishment of revegetation
on
golf course hydroseeding. An all-in-one mixture
of selected grass seeds, fertilisers, soil binders and gels, imported
blended mulch, soil ameliorates, growth stimulants and water is mixed
into a specialist FINN System
hydroseeding
machine and is applied onto the prepared surfaces at a predetermined
application rate. The fibre layer formed by the soil binder and gels
when combined with the blended mulch creates a microclimate that permits
seed germination to take place when soil moisture and temperature
conditions are favourable. The gels temporarily lock and hold all
ameliorants, fertilisers and moisture in the fibrous layer therefore
reducing leaching of essential elements and significantly reducing
watering by up to 50 % fundamental for golf courses. Thereafter, the
young emerging vegetation’s root systems develop quickly, anchoring
the outer layer of the soil, significantly reducing erosion and accelerating
growth of the applied vegetation types. Due to the rigid state of
the applied fibre layer it is not easily disturbed by wind or water
erosion. Hydromulch are experts at hydroseeding with Finn products
and have successfully proven the value for golf courses.
